How the countdown is worked out
We take the month and day of your birth and find the next time it occurs on or after today. If this year's birthday has already passed, the countdown rolls over to next year automatically.
Example: if today is 18 June and your birthday is 2 March, the countdown points to 2 March next year — about 257 days away.
